Q: Can the bases with rods tip over in strong winds?
A: In very windy conditions, the bases with rods can tip over. To prevent this, optional weight plates can be installed under the base for added stability. If the unit does fall over, it can easily be placed back in position without causing any damage.
For very exposed or windy environments, the base can be permanently fixed to the ground. This is done by drilling a hole into the ground and securing the base with a screw (ø 0.25 inch) through its center.
Q: How should the rods be maintained and cleaned?
A: The rubber and fiberglass rods do not require any special maintenance. They can be kept dust-free by simply wiping them with a slightly damp cloth. If the rods are used outdoors and become heavily soiled, they can be rinsed with plenty of water.
Q: Can rubber bases be used indoors?
A: Rubber bases can be used indoors, but some precautions are recommended. Rubber may leave marks on delicate flooring, so we advise using plastic feet to prevent staining. On carpets, rubber is not recommended; in these cases, we suggest using wooden bases instead. In addition, rubber may emit a light smell during the first days after installation. This is normal and will gradually disappear over time.
This space divider is ideal for creating a feeling of privacy in a garden or on a balcony without losing the sense of freedom typical of open spaces. Use Sticks indoors to adapt the look of a room or office arrangement entirely to your own taste. You can also choose which and how many rods you use and create various degrees of transparency, color combinations or differences in length. Delivered with optional feet for delicate floors. Rubber can cause stains on delicate surfaces. We recommend to use the feet if placed indoors. Use a wooden base on carpet floor.
You can use the curved bases to make beautiful round corners, semi-circles or waves, offering an organic touch to any interior.
Twelve sharp-curved bases are needed to make a full circle measuring two meters in diameter.
Sticks are a multi-use screen with applications indoors and outdoors. Curved Sticks bases combine perfectly with standard bases and allow you to create a variety of patterns; from straight or wavy lines, angles and semicircles to full circles. Since no structural changes are needed for these space dividers, they're also a great solution for rented spaces.
