Q: Are custom colors available ?
A: No, the pole of the Unimbrina is always made of stainless steel and is not available in custom colors.

Q: What is the difference between the Inumbra and the Inumbrina?
A: The Inumbrina has a longer pole that passes through the table, while the Inumbra is mounted directly on top of the table. The Inumbrina uses a rope system for opening instead of a handle, and it opens neatly above the table at a higher position since it does not use a spindle mechanism.

Q: How wind resistant is the shade? 
A: Tests in a windtunnel have shown that the shade withstands wind speeds up to 46 mph, when anchored to the floor. Still, we strongly advise to close it sooner (from 31 mph is the rule of thumb). 

Q: Can you remove the fabric for washing? 
A: We do not advise this but it is possible. In the first place, you should close the parasol when you do not use it and protect it with its cover. This protects the parasol from getting dirty. 

Q: Do you need to use a parasol cover? 
A: The cover is needed to protect and fix the parasol when not in use. Protect your parasol from polluted rain, bird droppings, dust and heavy winds to avoid marks or stains on the parasol fabric

Inumbrina opens with an innovative pulley system; with a simple rope you raise the curtain and create shadow. The parasol has a hexagonal or octagonal shape, depending on its size. Due to its smart design, you won't be bothered with any of the annoying parts: no ribs, rods, ropes or slats. The technical components are located above the fabric instead of underneath, what's left is a smooth, floating canvas; an aerodynamic design.
