A: Yes, painted parts can be produced in any RAL color of your choice. A startup fee of $400 per RAL color, per collection, and per order will apply.

Q: What is glazed lavastone ?
A: Glazed lavastone is a premium natural material that combines the strength of volcanic stone with the beauty and performance of a hand-applied enamel finish. The base material is genuine lavastone, formed by volcanic activity and quarried from natural deposits. Each slab is individually cut and prepared before multiple layers of coloured glaze are applied by skilled artisans.
The glazed surface is then fired at extremely high temperatures, causing the enamel to fuse permanently with the stone. This process creates a durable, non-porous finish that enhances the natural properties of lavastone while adding depth of colour, character, and visual richness.
Due to the intensive craftsmanship involved, each piece is unique. Slight variations in colour, texture, and finish are a natural result of the glazing and firing process and are considered part of the material's authentic character.

Q: How do I maintain Ash and glazed lavastone?
A: There is a difference between
Ash (untreated lavastone) has a natural, open stone structure. While it is durable, it remains porous and can absorb liquids. The risk of staining or damage depends on how long a liquid remains on the surface and its acidity.
To ensure optimal protection, the tabletop should be treated with the recommended stone protector. This treatment helps protect against staining, although it does not provide protection against acidic substances.
For detailed instructions regarding the initial treatment and periodic reapplication (typically every 2–3 years, depending on usage), please refer to the maintenance manual.

Glazed lavastone requires very little maintenance. The glazed surface is non-porous, making it highly resistant to moisture, stains, and everyday use. 
Simply clean the tabletop when needed using Extremis Multi Cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaning products or aggressive chemicals, as these may damage the surface finish.
