Q: What will happen to the shade if it is rolled out during a heavy downpour?
A: As the ground is never 100% level, the water on the shade will first run to
the centre of the shade and will then run off one side. A small amount of
water may remain in the centre of the shade, but when you close the shade, it will also run off.

Q: When can you use a Hopper Shade?

A: A Hopper Shade is an optional accessory that can be added whenever sun protection and extra comfort are desired.

Q: How should the Hopper Shade be installed?
A: The Hopper Shade should always be combined with one of the approved connection options. The most integrated solution is a Hopper that is “Hopper Shade prep,” meaning the legs already have pre-drilled holes for direct attachment of the shade.

Q: What if the Hopper legs do not have pre-drilled holes?
A: If the legs are not pre-drilled, the Hopper Shade can still be installed using a separate connector piece that attaches the shade to the legs.

Q: How wind resistant is the shade?
A: Tests in a windtunnel have shown that the shade withstands wind speeds up to 31 mph. Still, we strongly advise to close it sooner (from 18 mph is the rule of thumb).

Q: Do you need to use a shade cover?
A: The cover is needed to protect and fix the shade when not in use. Protect
your shade from polluted rain, bird droppings, dust and heavy winds to

avoid marks or stains on the shade fabric.

In the opened and closed positions, Hopper shade echoes the lines of the Hopper design. It opens and closes effortlessly, thanks to an internal spring mechanism that takes up no extra space beside the table. This foldable canopy creates ample shade for everyone in a simple, aesthetically pleasing way.
